sidewinder
Greetings, I recently purchased a J22 and I'm trying to get it close to OD configuration to start the year. One of the tasks will be to move the twing cleats from the cabin-side, to the deck. Looking at the deck layout, it seems the cleat should be right at the forward edge of the cockpit, which I get. But this puts the line running directly beneath the loaded spinnaker sheet, between the block and the cleat. Does this cause an issue with the skipper un-cleating the twing in certain cases? I think in practice, on the twing you want to release (leeward), the sheet would be up in the trimmers hand, so it could easy be snapped out of the cam cleat. Is there any critical distance or angles to hit here? (Before I start drilling holes in the deck). Thanks Ben
