Guest Bill Veno Posted January 5 Report Share Posted January 5 HELP! I'm looking for a basically sound J/22 that has damage or significant deterioration - for the purpose of personal use. I have owned a J/30 for 31 years, and then a J/24 that I restored after an "event" plus lots of use by a sailing school did extensive damage. I realize that I can't live without a sailboat (I'm 77 yrs young) and would like to have a "project" that will enable me to get back on the water ... in the Buzzards Bay area. Sails are good- prev owner very successful on the race course - I just sailed it for what it is - fast and fun, no races. Location - Huntington NY , on Long Island, 90 min west of Orient Pt Ferry.
