Guest Dave
Recently bought an older model. The previous owner replaced original keel bolts about 10 years ago but kept the original single lift hook. I wanted to install the 2 bolt lifting plate unfortunately, noticed the 2nd bolt was cut too short. I am now thinking of stilling using the single lifting hook along with 2 5/8” double braided lines as slings. Will this approach work? Thank you
cdoyle
Can’t confirm the efficacy of your plan B. In our fleet, we used nuts that were partially milled-down on the shorter stud so the threads would engage. One of those boats is still around. I’ll try to get som pix and post them here.
