old post but thought I would try to bump it. Can you provide more information on the a-sail dimensions or maybe it is "borrowed" from another class. I was contemplating a similar set up for short handed sailing using a Trogear sprit and thought that a used a-sail might be a good way to get into testing things cheaply. Maybe some have recommendations on one design class a-sails that might work. thanks, jon
