Boat:                1985  J-22  #473  J/Boats (Tillotson-Pearson).  Original deck layout;  flat mast step;  teak trim;  blue v-berth cushions.  2017 - removable cabin screens.

Hull:                 White hull;  white deck w/ beige non-skid;  blue boot stripe.  Annual V-17 bottom paint.  Motor mount;  bow pulpit;  Davis Windex 10.  2007 - Lifting Strap and plywood companionway brace (Davis Lifting Bracket).  2011 - Bottom stripped and painted, keel faired and epoxy.

Rigging:           Hardware good;  standing rigging: no breaks, bends, or fraying.  Hull, deck and bulkhead are solid; all through fittings regularly caulked.  Running rigging worn, will need replacement.  Loos #91 tension gauge.  2018 - jib cars.  1993 - spreaders.

Sails:                2005 - Doyle main and jib with blue horizontal stripe;  main with blue "USA 473" and "J-22".  1986 - Shore spinnaker with blue "473",  orange star pattern with red, yellow and white border.  Main/boom sail cover;  main & jib tube bags;  spinnaker launch bag;  spinnaker pole.  Sails are still crisp and serviceable for day sailing.

Motor:              1985 - Evinrude 4-hp outboard long shaft blue/white, model # E4BRHLCOB.  2011 - 3-gal red plastic fuel tank w/ hose.  2017 - Full serviced at Parma Marine.  

Trailer:             1985 - Kleeco Trailer, 20 ft, white single axle, 6 pads, 940 lbs, 2” ball, class 2 hitch.  Towing rig ~3100 lbs (boat, trailer, motor, battery, and equipment.)  2009 - Surge brakes & coupler, bearings repacked w/ caps, wiring, lights, stripped & painted.  2013 - Wood mast supports w/ roller for trailering/storage/raising; new pads.  2014 - Tie downs.  2021 - radial tires ST225/75R15/D;  painted;  wiring/clips/flat four-pole connector;  wood ladder. 

Compass:         Plastimo Contest 101, bulkhead mount, center cockpit below companionway.

Lights:              Perko: upgraded to LED in 2015-17.  Tricolor sailing light atop mast;  red, green, & white deck mounted running lights;  mast steaming light;  anchor light may be hung from backstay, with deck connector;  cabin light.

Electrical:         Six gang fuse switch panel;  16-ga wiring, soldered connectors, screw terminal blocks;  20/15 & 30/15 amp straight shore power adapters.  2015 - battery & box, group 24 deep cycle.

Safety Equip:    PFDs w/ whistles:  Adult: 4- #1, 6- #2, 1- #3;  Youth: 1- #3;  Child: 1- #1, 1- #2;  4- #4 throwable cushions;  1 ring with floating line.  Safety harnesses: 2 adult, 1 child.  Distress signals:  22 meteor flares/w pistol;  10 handheld flares;  6 orange smoke;  1 orange flag w/ black square & ball;  mirror;  1 green dye. 

Other Safety:    Danforth 8-S anchor w/ 200-ft 3/8” nylon & 5-ft chain;  2 wooden paddles;  manual bilge pump;  2 buckets;  air horn;  extra cartridge;  mouth horn;  compass;  charts;  4 fenders;  6 dock lines.

Electronics:      West Marine VHF250, handheld VHF radio w/weather, no DSC

History:            Day sailed, 3-6 times per season, 4-6 hr day/evening sail out of Whiskey Island Marina, Lake Erie off Cleveland within five miles of shore, between the Crib, Rocky River, & Gordon Park, or on the Cuyahoga River.  No measurement certificate.  Winter storage at home on trailer.
