Quantum sails tuning guide has a good list of changes to the standard boat. for my boat (#26) I have: Redone most of the sea hood to have a reasonable halyard cleating setup Moved the traveler cleats forward so the skip can sit on the beam and hike more All new standing rigging, including longer forestay and shorter backstay bought all the required equipment got a new anchor line to make the required length (old lines can shrink!) got an angled mast plate got a longer tiller extension ... Its a lot.

@ElCapitan The difference when racing upwind is very noticeable. Would recommend the Vela Sailing supply forestay. If you try to extend your existing forestay, you may run into issues with the bottom jib hanks not going on.

I have the west marine backstay. its 24' 3-3/4" (hole to hole). I wish it were an inch or two shorter

@ghurwitch Thanks for your willingness to help. I ended up guessing on some things and making some measurements myself. Here's the drawing I made and gave to a local welding shop. I'm posting it here for anyone who comes across this thread looking for the same. My hull number is #26. I installed this yesterday and it fits well. should fit unmodified older hulls I think. Would anyone in this thread be willing to post dimensions of their lifting bar? I'm having one made. I would want to know the: l/w and thickness of bar l/w of thickness of vertical bit Hole/slot diameter Hole/slot spacing D-ring / shackle size.
