We have put our boat on the market after enjoying the boat and the fleet for several years. Any information about recent sales would be appreciated. Pinyachta Posted May 10, 2013 Report Share Posted May 10, 2013 Generally, for a boat made in such large numbers there are never a lot on the market. There seem two be two tiers. Those selling in the $8-10K range and those that bring twice that. The latter are usually newer race equipped and may have a record of success on the water. With new boats selling in the $50K range used boats are sought after. You should have no difficulty selling a J/22 that's priced to market. Geography doesn't seem to make much difference. A boat sold out of my Eastern club and was towed to the left coast. Boats are often sold up and down the coasts and into eastern Canada. Hope this helps.
